Tackling water scarcity and water pollution
Water is one of our planet’s most precious resources, sustaining every kind of life. But it is increasingly vulnerable. Fresh water is being used faster than it can be replenished, and aquatic ecosystems are facing damage because of pollution.

Our actions and aims
RESTORING MARINE ECOSYSTEM
As well as reducing plastic use with eco-design principles, since 2021 we’ve partnered with organisations to support the collection of plastic waste from coastal areas. Our target is to collect 5,000 tonnes by 2030*, maintaining a 1:1 balance between what is used and collected.
In 2025, this commitment resulted in the collection of 868.1 tonnes of plastic waste. From 2021 to the end of 2025, we supported the collection of a total of 3,436.3 tonnes of plastic waste, moving closer to achieving our goal of collecting 5,000 tonnes by 2030.
REDUCING OUR WATER CONSUMPTION
Around 90% of our production machinery is equipped with technology that recirculates water for cooling and heating to reduce waste. By 2030, we’re aiming to reduce total water consumption at Davines Group Village by 50% compared to 2023 levels**. This is just one of the initiatives that contributes to water reduction.
